Mystus vittatus (Bloch, 1794)

  • Holotype (unique): ZMB 2939.

Type locality: Tranquebar [Tharangambadi], India.

Etymology: The specific name is derived from the Latin vitta (= stripe), an allusion for the pattern of the species.
