Astyanax lacustris (Lütken, 1875)

  • Syntypes: MNHN 0000-9580 [ex ZMUC] (3); NMW 57540 (1); SMNS 2045 (2); ZMB 9200 (2); ZMUC uncat. (25).

Type locality: Lagoa Santa, 19°38'S, 43°53'W, Brazil.

Etymology: lacustrine (belonging to a lake), described from Lagoa Santa, Minas Gerais, Brazil.
