- Holotype: CHUNB 09811, adult ♂, collected by Guarino R. Colli and students 5 November 1998.
- Type locality: “Fazenda Cachoeira (12°32’07”S, 60°25’36”W), 50 km NW of Vilhena, Rondônia, Brazil, elevation about 612 m”.
