Type locality: "Serranía de Santiago, roughly 6 km east of Santiago de Chiquitos (1819′S, 5934′ W, ca. 800 m above sea level), Chiquitanía region, Provincia San José de Chiquitos, Departamento Santa Cruz, Bolivia".
