Holotype: TM 41498, adult ♂, collected by D. Onderstall on 29 December 1971.
Type locality: “Black Umbeluzi Falls (26°16′ S 31°09′ E), ±1100 m elevation, Hhohho District, Swaziland”.
Paratypes (n=11): TM 41497, adult ♀, and TM 41499, adult ♀, same data as for holotype; TM 42530, unsexed juvenile, 3 October 1972, TM 42671, juvenile ♀, and TM 42672, young ♂, 8 January 1971, collected by W.D.
