- Holotype: TM 58437, adult ♂, collected on 24 November 1984.
- Type locality: “The Hawekwa Mountains near Paarl, 33°41′05″S/19°05′42″E, Cape Province, South Africa, at an altitude of 1140 m”.
- Paratypes (n=14): TM 58438, adult ♀; TM 58439-58443, two adult ♂ and three adult ♀; TM 58444-58446, subadults and TM 58447-58451, juveniles, same data as for holotype, except TM 58438, 58444, 58445 and 58447 collected on 11 November 1984.
Native distribution areas
