Type locality: "Hou-keng-tzu, Shih-ting area, Taipei Hsien, Taiwan, 24° 54´ N, 121° 37´ E; altitude 220 m. The Hou-keng-tzu valley brook is a tributary of Pei-shih stream of Feitsui Valley".
Holotype: NTNUB 054901.
