- Holotype: ZMH, ♂, collected by F. Bruns in 20–26 July 1909. [destroyed in July 1943 during WWII]
- Type locality: “Barferush, Provinz Mazanderan, Persien [=Babol, Mazandaran Province, Iran]”.
