Zaltanpithecus simonsi (Delson, 1979)

  • Holotype: AMNH FM-17768, partial mandible with m2–3.
  • Type locality and horizon: region of Gebel Zelten, north central Libya, probably Lower Marada Formation. Early Miocene (Orleanian).
