New translation templates

Hi. You may have noticed I recently created some new wikispecies-based translation templates. The list is: {{Int Gender}}, {{Int Similar groups}}, {{Int Synonyms or similar groups}}, {{Int Type}}, {{Int Alternative classifications}}, {{Distr}} and {{Overview of}}, and also {{Faunaeur2}} and {{Commons(with translations)}}.
What is your opinion about them (unnecessary mess, too experimental to let continue, redondant to Localization project's templates, other)? Cheers. --Caftaric (talk) 05:33, 29 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

┌─────────────────────────┘ @Caftaric & @Justin: These templates seems to work well, however one problem I see is that they – or rather their code base – will most likely become very big, and therefore perhaps slow or server-intensive. At present most of Caftaric's templates only include a handful of languages or less, however the Wikispecies:Localization database currently display a total of 33 different languages (plus English), and more are likely to be added in the future. Eventually all of these will have to be entered into each and every one of Caftaric's templates, should we decide to keep them. –Tommy Kronkvist (talk), 04:05, 2 January 2020 (UTC).[reply]

Extra translations

Moved from Wikispecies:Administrators' Noticeboard.

The content in translation unit 16 of Help:Author Names shouldn't have been translated. I have deleted the translation unit, but the translations themselves still remain. Suspicious red links in sv-translation

They work on the target page, isn't that what matters? So what if they don't work in the diffs? Besides they do work Translations:Wikispecies:Transwiki importers/5/sv. Also, see Wikispecies:Transwiki_importers/cs and Translations:Wikispecies:Transwiki_importers/5/cs. They use these red links that work on the target page but not on the translation page. Sould they be removed, if so why are they present on Translations:Wikispecies:Transwiki importers/5/en? --Sabelöga (talk) 08:35, 26 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Sabelöga: no problem, Special:WantedPages is so "cluttered" with translation stuff, that nothing we can do before very intelligent translation tools are available (it takes about 10-15 years)--Estopedist1 (talk) 06:25, 27 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I made an edit that could possibly not work the way it should

I just made this edit which was supposed to make the translated pages show the translated version of the User Interface Admin template. That happend, but only if the translated template exists, like on sv and tr, but when it doesn't exist, like on de and pt-br, the template shows a red link and messes up with the rest of the text. Is there a way to get around this by making it show the original if there isn't a translated version, or is this just how it works? --Sabelöga (talk) 20:32, 29 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Translation deletion requests

(This requires a translation admin who is also a normal admin, so posting here rather than at the translation admin noticeboard) Translations:Help:Image Guidelines/Page display title/nqo is not a translation, and I tagged it for speedy deletion a while ago, but its still there.
