  • @Cyberpower678: Thank you for this. Under what circumstances would you anticipate exceeding 10 edits per minute? Our bot policy says "Bots' editing speed should be regulated in some way; subject to approval, bots doing non-urgent tasks may edit approximately once every ten seconds, while bots doing more urgent tasks may edit approximately once every four seconds.".     At those speeds the bot will never be able to finish a run without the issue still getting larger. IABot also doesn't have a rate throttle primarily because the numerous analysis routines in use restrict the bot's speed. It's usually faster on smaller articles with URLs it already encountered once before. If I note the request above, then it operator wants to run 50/minute, that's significantly faster than what IABot is asking to do.—CYBERPOWER (Chat) 18:00, 19 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
