I have made a template from Damen et al. (2018) using standard WS formats - see on Dracaena braunii, as it will be used on multiple pages including the new combinations. Do you support bringing Sansevieria into Dracaena s.l.? There is a discussion here on the pump, but nobody is bothered! Andyboorman (talk) 14:48, 6 March 2019 (UTC)

I have made the page Dracaena viridiflora for you to follow in order that you can add data to the pages you have made, which are just images at the moment. Autopatrolled rights

Dear Dracaenaworldwide, You have been granted autopatrolled user rights, which may be granted to experienced Wikispecies users who have demonstrated an understanding of Wikispecies policies and guidelines. In addition to what registered users can do, autopatrollers can have one's own edits automatically marked as patrolled (autopatrol). Pleomele halapepe

Author templates and references.

Hello Dracaenaworldwide. When adding author templates, please consider using the full name of author pages in the links. There are several reasons for this:

1. Within the field of botany author abbreviations are standardized and every abbreviation is unique to a specific author – or at least they are supposed to be... In zoology this is not the case, and there may therefore be many, many authors sharing the same author abbreviation. As a result an author template like for example {{a|Baker}} will not lead to the page about the botanist John Gilbert Baker (even though his author abbreviation is indeed "Baker"). Instead it will link to a disambiguation page listing all authors named "Baker". Hence, the correct way to point to the page about John Gilbert Baker using an author template is like this: {{a|John Gilbert Baker|Baker}} which will link to the specific John Gilbert Baker page but be rendered onscreen as Baker.
2. Since Wikispecies' primary scope of interest is biological nomenclature and taxonomy, taxon names takes precedence over author names. As a result an author template like for example {{a|Bos}} will not link to the page about the Dutch botanist Jan Just Bos (even though his author abbreviation is "Bos"). Instead it will link to a page about the Bos
   genus (i.e. bovine mammals, including domestic cattle). As with the Baker case, the correct way of linking to the author is {{a|Jan Just Bos|Bos}}
   The same is true for scientific journals, and this is the reason why we use ISSN for journal page links, rather than the actual journal names. For example we write ''[[ISSN 0367-5734|Hedwigia]]'' in order to link to the scientific journal named Hedwigia, since the "plain name" link is reserved for the plant genus Hedwigia.
