Clades

edit

Hello. We are not meant to use clades on WS, for some obscure reason, but I guess because it is meant to strictly follow a Linnean structure. So I note your edits on Acronema (clade) with interest. In the past when I have attempted to undertake such edits I have been criticised. If you don't mind I will start a discussion on the Pump that will highlight your edits. By the way I removed a dead link to commons. Thoughts? Regards Andyboorman (talk) 07:30, 21 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hello. Good to know as my present goal is to create all clades for Apioideae (and checking what's in it or not). But I dont have to correct all the templates to add the clade for each genus though if it is a problem. Culex (talk) 09:03, 21 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
Normal practice on WS was to just link back to the Subfamilia, but personally I am happy with clades. OK I will initiate a discussion on the Pump if you are happy with that. Désolé mon français est rouillé! Andyboorman (talk) 09:42, 21 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
Ok, very well. For information, I am not a biologist myself, but a librarian with fair knowledge in taxonomy and personal interests in sponges and plants for various reasons. So even though my advice may not have much authority, I think I still know fairly what I'm doing here on Wikispecies. But I will aply whatever comes out from that discussion. :-) Culex (talk) 10:18, 21 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
