Welcome to Wikispecies!Edit

Hello, and welcome to Wikispecies! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages you might like to see:

If you have named a taxon, then it is likely that there is (or will be) a Wikispecies page about you, and other pages about your published papers. Please see our advice and guidance for taxon authors.

If you have useful images to contribute to Wikispecies, please upload them at Wikimedia Commons. This is also true for video or audio files containing bird songs, whale vocalization, etc.

Please sign your comments on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your username (if you're logged in) and the date. Please also read the Wikispecies policy What Wikispecies is not. If you need help, ask me on my talk page, or in the Village Pump. Again, welcome!

Johannes Govertus de Man reference templateEdit

Hello. You recently created the reference template {{De Man, 1895–1898}} however it looks like the BHL link is wrong. Your template say that the journal's name should be Zoologische Jahrbücher. Abteilung für Systematik, Geographie und Biologie der Tiere (please see Zoologische Jahrbücher for more details) however the BHL page you link to is page 9 of the journal Allgemeinen botanischen Zeitung (see full BHL information here.)

That's two different journals. Could you please correct it, and link to the correct journal? Best regards, Tommy Kronkvist (talk)‚ 06:38, 23 March 2022 (UTC).

Thanks for the correctiom. last night, maybe i am to sleepy so i wrongfully copy the wrong title. wait, let me correct it. Agus Damanik (talk) 08:30, 23 March 2022 (UTC)
Thank you. All of the data looks correct now, after your fixes. –Tommy Kronkvist (talk), 13:56, 23 March 2022 (UTC).

Naming reference templateEdit

Hello again. I've renamed the Template:Yeo, Rahayu & Ng 2004 you created to Template:Yeo, Rahayu & Ng, 2004 (the last comma before the year of publication is the only difference). I've also deleted the Yeo, Rahayu & Ng 2003 and Yeo, Rahayu & Ng, 2003 variations you created earlier, and which you had redirected to Template:Yeo, Rahayu & Ng 2004.

For Wikispecies conventions and praxis for naming reference templates, please see the "Reference Templates" paragraph on the "Help:References section" page. Please don't hesitate to ask if you have any further questions – we're here to help. Thank you. –Tommy Kronkvist (talk), 15:02, 23 March 2022 (UTC).

Template:Ng & Rahayu, 2022Edit

Template:Ng & Rahayu, 2022, named with "2022", carries a date of 2014 - which is correct? Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 19:20, 27 March 2022 (UTC)

Template:Biju et al., 2020Edit

The {{Biju et al., 2020}} template you recently created refers to a Zootaxa article called "New insights on the systematics and reproductive behaviour in tree frogs of the genus Feihyla, with description of a new related genus from Asia (Anura, Rhacophoridae)", however the DOI you added together with the template is the identifier for an article named "Three new species of horned frogs, Megophrys (Amphibia: Megophryidae), from northeast India, with a resolution to the identity of Megophrys boettgeri populations reported from the region", and partly by other authors. Can you please remedy this error, and add the correct DOI? –Tommy Kronkvist (talk), 15:42, 8 April 2022 (UTC).

Done. Sorry for the mistake Agus Damanik (talk) 15:51, 8 April 2022 (UTC)
