Name

Typhlomys chapensis Osgood, 1932

• Holotype: BMNH 32.4.19.7, adult ♀, skin and skull, collected by J. Delacour and W. Lowe on 24 November 1929.
• Type locality: “Chapa, Tonkin”.

• Typhlomys cinereus chapensis Osgood, 1932: 298 [original combination, as subspecies]
• Typhlomys chapaensis: Abramov, Balakirev & Rozhnov, 2014: 8 [subsequent combination, elevate to species]
