Type locality: Mitoho caves, underground waters in Mahafaly, Onilahy River, about 1 kilometer north of the natural reserve of Lake Manampetsa [Tsimanampetsotsa], about 24°08'S, 43°48'E [1], Toliara Province, southwestern Madagascar.
