Trichomycterus septemradiatus Katz et al., 2013

  • Holotype: UFRJ 8576.
  • Paratypes: UFRJ 7278 (11), 8385 (3 (c&s)).

Type locality: Brazil, Estado de Minas Gerais, Município de Conceição da Aparecida, stream tributary of Cuiabá river, tributary of Grande river, Paraná river basin, between villages Conceição da Aparecida and Nova Resende.

Etymology: The name septemradiatus make reference to the number of pectoral-fin rays (seven) of the species.
