  • Paratypes: UFRJ 7545 (11), 7792 (5 (c&s)).

Type locality: Brazil, Estado do Espírito Santo, Município de Mimoso do Sul, rio Alto Pratinha, tributary of rio Muqui do Sul, tributary of the rio Itabapoana basin, 21°03’85"S, 41°18’22"W [1], altitude about 660 m.

Etymology: The specific epithet mimosensis is an allusion to the name of the type locality, Mimoso do Sul, Espírito Santo, Brazil.
