Holotype: DORCM GS 1110, a tooth (left lower molar with broken paraconid).
Type locality and horizon: Sunnydown Farm Quarry (clay: upper horizon; equivalent to DB 102/103 ), Berriasian lacustrine - small limestone/claystone in the Lulworth Formation of the United Kingdom.
