Timorichthys angustus Nielsen et al., 2013

  • Holotype (unique): NSMT-P 110598.

Type locality: East China Sea, Japan, 31.09.130N, 126.39.870E – 31.08.870N, 126.38.120E [1], 94–95 m depth.

Etymology: The Latin adjective angustus, meaning narrow, is given in reference to its narrow interorbital width.
