editThamnophis cyrtopsis (Kennicott, 1860)
- Holotype: USNM 8067 (formerly SIM 930), adult ♂, collected by Lieut. Darius Nash Couch in 1853.
- Type locality: “Rinconada, Coahuila, Mexico”, corrected to “about 20 miles northeast of Ramos Arizpe, Coahuila, in the state of Nuevo León close to the Nuevo León-Coahuila state line” by Conant in Webb (1966: 58).
