  • Paratypes: LBP 5751 (4 (1 c&s)), 1585 (5 (1 c&s)), 1629 (1); MZUSP 88119 (2).

Type locality: Brazil, Goiás, Aragarças, Rio Araguaia, Amazon basin, 15°53'31.5"S, 52°15'02.0"W [1].

Etymology: The specific epithet denticulatus, from Latin, refers to the presence of small teeth on the dentary, a condition distinguishing the species from its congeners.
