• Holotype: MNRJ 5316, collected by S. Ribeiro on 4 March 2002.
• Type locality: “Siriba Island, Abrolhos Archipelago, Bahia State, Brazil, intertidal”.
• Paratypes (3): UFRJPOR 4735, collected by G. Muricy on 30 October 1997, “Redonda Island”; MNRJ 5320, collected by E. Esteves on 4 March 2002, “Siriba Island”; MNRJ 5321, collected by S. Ribeiro on 4 March 2002, “Siriba Island”, all from the intertidal zone in Abrolhos Archipelago.
