- Type locality: Lithic Ridge Cave, Government Canyon State Natural Area, Bexar County, Texas, 29.56N, 98.74W.
- Etymology: This species is named in honor of Kemble White, fellow caver, geologist and collector of many Tayshneta species in Texas.
