- Holotype: AMNH 225077, adult ♂, skin, skull and body in alcohol.
- Type locality: “from an altitude of 7500 feet [=2286 m] in moss forest on the southwestern slope near the summit of Gunung Nokilalaki (lat. 1l°3' S, long. 120°08' E), a high peak northeast ofDanau Lindu, Province Sulawesi Tengah, Central Sulawesi, Indonesia”.
