Holotype: IZCAS, ♂, 5.–12.11.2006.

Type locality: CHINA: Yunnan: Menglun Town: Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden, 21°54.200'N, 101°16.923'E, elevation ca 608 m.

Etymology: This name is derived from the Latin word ‘undatus’, which means ‘wavy’, referring to the shape of the proximal edge of the paracymbium; adjective.
