Type locality: Venezuela, Mawaca, Federal Territory of Amazonas; 84 km SE of La Esmeralda; [3°10′22.73′′ N, 65°32′32.39′′ W].

Holotype: MIZA. male ♂. 05.III.1985. legit J. Latke and R. Candia. MIZA 07062.
