Holotype: MRAC 92-059-P-1933. Paratypes: MRAC 92-059-P-1934-1936 (3), 92-059-P-1940 (1).
Type locality: Guinea, Ndyarendi, Kogon River, 11°21'N, 14°30'W.
Etymology: The species is named after its type locality, the Kogon River.
