Syntypes (2): BMNH 1947.2.3.99, adult ♀, and 1947.2.4.1., adult ♀.
Type locality: “Barong Bharu, 4,000 feet, Barisan Range, W. Sumatra, Lat. 2°8´S.”, stated as “Korinchi, Sumatra, 4,000 feet” by Boulenger (1920: 212).
