- Type locality: “am Straßenrand ca. 1 km nördlich von Andoany (Hellville), Nosy Be, Nordwest-Madagaskar [=“at the edge of the road, ca. 1 km north of Andoany (= Hellville), Nosy Be, northwest Madagascar]”.
