Stiphodon maculidorsalis Maeda & Tan, 2013

  • Holotype: MZB 17213.
  • Paratypes: ZRC 51822 (1, 3), 51836 (3), 51445 (1, 3).

Type locality: South Painan [1], West Sumatra Province, Sumatra.

Etymology: The specific name is a combination of the Latin words maculosus, meaning spotted, and dorsalis, meaning dorsal, referring to unique spotted dorsum on head and trunk in both sexes.
