Stegonotus guentheri Boulenger, 1895: 31. BHL

  • Syntype: BMNH 1946.1.11.37 (formerly BMNH 95.4.26.47), adult ♂, collected by English naturalist Albert Stewart Meek (1871–1943), between September and December 1894.
  • Syntype: BMNH 1946.1.11.38 (formerly BMNH 95.4.26.48), adult ♀, same collector data as BMNH 1946.1.11.37.
  • Syntype: BMNH 1946.1.11.39 (formerly BMNH 95.4.26.49), adult ♀, same collector data as BMNH 1946.1.11.37.
  • Type locality: "Fergusson Island, D’Entrecasteaux Group, British New Guinea", Fergusson Island, ca. 9.54° S, 150.67° E, d'Entrecasteaux Archipelago, Milne Bay Province, Papua New Guinea.
