- Neotype: BMNH 1964.6.8.6, collected on 28 September 1963. [designated by Erpenbeck & van Soest (2002: 801)]
- Type locality: “Mare circa Angliam & Belgium”, redesigned by neotype designation to “Burnham-on-Crouch, Essex” by Erpenbeck & van Soest (2002: 801).
