- Type locality: “Southern states”, restricted to “Liberty County, Georgia” by Schmidt (1953: 14), redesignated by neotype designation to “Wayne Co., Georgia, USA (31.50109°N, 81.91324°W, datum WGS84, elev. 13 m)” by Fedler, Enge & Moler (2023: 369).
