Type locality: Cave in Luolou Town, Youjiang River, Lingyun County, Guangxi, China, 24.4°N, 106.8°E [1], 778 m a.s.l.

Etymology: The specific name luolouensis refers to the type locality of the species, located near Luolou Town.
