editHolotype: FMNH CUP 1, a partial skull (anterior part of skull and lower jaws).
Type locality and horizon: Tati, Lufeng County, Yunnan Province, China; Upper Red Beds, Lower Lufeng Formation, Early Jurassic (Sinemurian).
