Type locality: 5 km N Quellón, in a modified forest, 105 m alt., Isla de Chiloé, Chiloé, Region de los Lagos, Chile

Holotype ♂ & allotype ♀: AMNH (1.XII.1981; N. I. Platnick & R. T. Schuh)
