- Holotype: UMZ 2001.1.1, adult ♀, collected by J. Gerlach, R. Gerlach and J. Willi on 9 August 2000.
- Type locality: “Mon Plaisir (in Phoenicophorium borsigianum axil, below Mt Dauban at approximately 700 m altitude), Silhouette, Seychelles”.
