Schistura paucireticulata Lokeshwor, Vishwanath & Kosygin, 2013

Holotype: MUMF 11120. Paratypes: MUMF 11121 (1), 11122-11123 (2).

Type locality: India, Mizoram, Aizawl District, Tuirial River near Aizawl (the Barak-Surma-Meghna river system), 23º43′12.49″N, 92º47′59.43″E, altitude 175 m a.s.l.

Etymology: The specific epithet is derived from the Latin pauci prefix (= few), and reticulata (= net-like), referring to the network of bars on the anterior side of the body.
