Sceloporus woodi Stejneger, 1918: 90

Holotype: USNM 48720, collected by Nelson R. Wood in 1912.
Type locality: Auburndale, Polk Co., Florida.
Etymology: Named after Nelson R. Wood ( -1920), collector of the type specimen, and Taxidermist at the U.S. National Museum.
