- Holotype: QM J92377, adult ♀, collected by C.J. Hoskin on 20 March 2013.
- Type locality: “Melville Range (14°16'38" S, 144°29'28" E, elevation 500 m), Cape Melville National Park, north-east Queensland”, Australia.
- Paratypes (n=2): QM J92378, ♂, and QM J92379, ♀, same data as the holotype.
