  • Lectotype: BMNH 1946.1.16.54 (formerly 1864.3.9.2), ♂, collected by R.H. Beddome. [designated by Pyron et al. (2016: 485)]
  • Type locality: “Cherambady, in the Wynand”, Kerala, India.
  • Paralectotypes: Unknown, possibly lost.
