Pseudobatos planiceps (Garman, 1880)

  • Syntypes: (21) MCZ 377-S (6, now 5), 378-S (11), 537-S (1), 538-S (1), 633-S (1, skeleton).

Type locality: Paita and Callao, Peru; Galápagos Islands.

Etymology: planus (= flat); –ceps (= head), referring to broad, flat head. (From: The ETYFish Project)
