Holotype: ♂, AMNH NJ-892A
Type locality: Upper Cretaceous (Turonian) amber, New Jersey, Middlesex County, Sayreville, white oaks pit.
Paratypes: ♂, AMNH NJ-692, same data as holotype.
Fossil range: Upper Cretaceous (Turonian).
Etymology: named after William Keith Emerson.
