Type locality: “Queelgebiet des Bulung [=Bulung River] [Huon Peninsula, Papua New Guinea], 1800/2000 m.”

Type locality: “altitude of 5-6,000 ft., in the upper Wahgi River valley on the southern slopes of Mt. Hagen, in the south-east corner of the Sepik Division, Territory of New Guinea.”
