Type locality: "at an altitude of 1030 m above sea level, from Ponmudi Hills near 'upper sanatorium' (approximately 8° 45´ N, 77° 08´ E) in Thiruvananthapuram District, Kerala, India".
Holotype: BNHM 4272.
