Holotype: USNM 135940. Paratypes: BSKU 39887 (1); CSIRO H720-13 (1), H720-14 (1), H719-18 (1), H2081-01 (1), H720-01 (1); FAKU 58681 (1).

Type locality: Philippines, vicinity of north of Mindanao, 6.6 mi off Macalaban Point Light, 08°36’26"N, 124°36’08"E, 413 m depth.[1]

Etymology: Noun in apposition based on a combination of the first two letters of the senior author’s granddaughters Carolyn, Josephine, Rachel, Rosemary, and Riley.
