Type locality: "eastern approaches to Cerro Teotepec (17° 28´ N, 100° 08´ W), along the Milpillas-Atoyac Road, 50.3 km (by road) W Cruz Ocote, Guerrero, Mexico, at an elevation of 9725 feet (= 2966 m)".
Holotype: KU 221955.
