Bungarus caeruleus (Schneider, 1801)

  • Lectotype: specimen described and illustrated by P. Russell (1796: 1–2, pl. 1). [designated by Klemmer (1963: 279)]
  • Type locality: “Vizagapatam (Indien)” and “India orientali”, restricted to “Vizagapatam (Indien)” by lectotype designation by Klemmer (1963: 279).
  • Paralectotype: ZMB 2787, from “India orientali”.
