Pseudagrion pilidorsum
Pseudagrion pilidorsum pilidorsum are damselflies under Family Coenagrionidae. They are thrive where bodies of water can be found. Males are usually found in or near bodies of water while the females are usually seen away from water bodies. This organisms exhibit dimorphism in terms of reproductive structure and body coloration with the males colored red and the females brown. a study conducted recently by a student researcher from the Philippines which involves geometric morphometric and statistical analyses have concluded that P. pilidorsum pilidorsum have variations in the shape of their forewings with the females having more elongated forewings than the male counterparts.
